I saw this inspiring video with a girl named Kandee Johnson. Kandee is a makeup artist, who really had to fight for her dream. She have (like many others) had some rough periods in her life, which she speaks openly about in the video. She encourages people to follow their dreams and their passion. The video is a bit long, but i promise you, after the first three minutes, you can't stop yourself for felling like she's talking to you. If you'll see the video, THIS is the link to the twenty minute, very inspiring, go-do-something video. After seeing the video, the blood in my veins began to rush. My heart pumped faster, and i felt a little growing glow inside.
Lately I've noticed how I'm pushing my dreams further and further away. Every time I catch myself thinking of being a professional photographer, I think again and convince myself of how foolish it is. "You've won't earn enough money" or "You're not good enough". -But now I realize that it was (and still is) thoughts like those, who is foolish. It's foolish to hold yourself back like that, it's foolish to let the pressure of the society's ideals get you down! You are the only one who's holding you back, and because of that, you're the only one who can help you to become what you want. So help yourself, be yourself, and appreciate yourself! If you do that, I will try to do the same. It will be rough and sometimes you/we/I may feel alone, but if you're not willing to nourish your passion, fight for your passion, no one will catch it. Maybe someday it will end up laying shattered at your feet. So fight for what you love to do and do what you have to do, to accomplish your dreams and hopes. Ask for help when you need it, and give help to those who (just like you) are trying to follow their heart..
